Graduate level courses like BBA,BCA and B.Com course are offered for students who have either passed out their plus 2 level or had appeared for the same. These students are accepted from academic backgrounds and need not necessarily have any professional exposure.

Masters level courses are however guided through an entry barrier as far as Hillside Institute of Management and Academy (herein referred to as HIMAA ) is concerned. The students who are admitted have a mandate of having a minimum professional exposure. Entrance Requirements

Students looking forward to taking admissions in hillside institute and management academy should be aware about the details of documents that they should provide:

  • Score card (KMAT/CMAT/MAT/PGCET/CAT) original + 4 copies
  • Application form
  • Migration certificate (if studied in non-Karnataka states)
  • 10th & 12th marks sheet certificate
  • Graduation degree marks sheets (3 / 4 / 5 years)
  • Caste & income certificate (if claiming under sc /st / i / ii / iii categories)
  • Degree certificate / pdc
  • 4 photos (stamp size)
  • Blood group report

Attendance requirements:

A student shall be considered to have satisfied the attendance requirement if he/she has attended not less than 85% of the classes in each subject of that semester (this include theory, seminars, industrial training and dissertation work) actually conducted up to the end of the semester. a student, shall not be eligible to appear for the examination of the semester and shall be required to repeat that semester along with regular students later in case the admission criteria is not met as per standards.

Internal Assessments

Each student shall obtain not less than 50% of the maximum marks prescribed for the internal assessment of each subject, including seminars. This remain to be the basic norm as far as Hillside Institute of Management and Academy is concerned.

As far as internal assessments are concerned, the student shall have to obtain a minimum of 40% of marks in the university examination and a minimum of 50% of marks in aggregate including the internal assessment marks in order to be qualified in all subjects. this remains to be the basic norm in order to get passed.
